  • Discuss tax-related moving expenses, liabilities, and deductions with your tax advisor.

  • Get copies of (or arrange for transfer at both ends of move) all school, medical, dental, veterinary, legal, and accounting records.

Four Weeks Before Move:

  • Get an itemized list of all moving related costs and review with mover, including packing, loading, special charges, insurance, vehicles (if needed), etc.

  • Move valuables to safe deposit box to prevent loss during move.
  • If you are packing yourself, acquire packing materials/boxes and pack items you won't need for the next month.
  • If professional mover is packing your goods, schedule packing day(s) 1 or 2 days before move.
  • Prepare any mowers, snow blowers, boats, snowmobiles (or other vehicles you won't be using before the move) for the move by servicing and draining gas and oil, to prevent a moving van fire.
  • Repair, send out for re-upholstery, or clean furniture, drapes, carpeting as needed.

~ Jennifer W.

I worked with Coldwell Banker Gladstone Realtors and The Sisters for the past 6 months & would highly recommend them! We already closed with them on one property and am in the process of finding another one with them.

~ John D.

I bought several houses and hands down, Diane Paxson and Tina Cinfio, they are the best real estate agent I’ve ever used. They know every inch of the Lisle area and housing marketplace.

~ Sara B.

I have known Tina and Diane for several years and have been working with Tina on real estate transactions during that time. She is very knowledgeable about real estate sales of all kinds and maintains a high level of communication with you as her client throughout the process which I greatly appreciated. Sales is in her blood and she does a fantastic job of negotiating the best deal for her client, that's for sure. I have since continued to refer friends/family to Tina and she always pulls through for each of them. I highly recommend her!

~ Rich G.

Tina was very helpful selling my house. She was very responsive to all my questions. It was a difficult time and she took care of everything. I know I gained a friend in the process. I would recommend Tina to anyone buying or selling a house.

~ Kendra D.

Tina was extremely knowledgeable in helping out us market our home better. She was always available for questions and concerns and kept us informed about everything going on with selling our home. We have already recommended her to several people and will definitely call her the next time we are buying or selling real estate.

It was a pleasure to work with Diane and Tina, they are dedicated hard working professionals that made selling my home an easy stress free process. They kept me very informed through every step of the process always keeping my best interests in mind. I highly recommend them!

~ Doria R.

I could not be more happy with the service that I got from Tina. She helped me through the entire process of selling my home. Very professional and helpful. I would use her again. Not only did she help sell my house but became a friend as well.

~ Kurt S.

I purchased my first home in May 2014, which can be quite intimidating to a "rookie". Tina simplified everything for me with her knowledge and great advice. Her patience and understanding of what I was looking for was her greatest attribute. Tina was recommended to me by my niece, who was also extremely happy with her services. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone searching, selling, or purchasing a home. Thank you Tina!!

~ Anthony P.

All the Realtors we had prior to Tina seemed to be uneducated - not willing to explain anything about the steps and processes of buying a house, as we are/were first time home buyers. Not long after backing out of a contact for about 4-5 months our lawyer tells us he has this amazing Italian Realtor that is fantastic and call her. After talking with Tina - I had a good feeling- She listened to what we wanted, explained everything in full detail -Tina went above and beyond to write the owners a letter - that we were first time home buyers, high school sweethearts - we loved the house. Because of that letter we won the bidding war. We were under contract for 9 mo., house was a FHA short sale, deal ended up fall through due to sellers. A week later she found us our dream home - short sale- she worked very hard to get us to close in 3 months! She is fantastic, I HIGHLY recommend Tina When ever I know someone is looking to buy or sell their home, I always give Tina's name!

~ Gina I.

These two ladies are the real deal. They provide absolutely accurate and up to date information, even if it is not what you want to hear. They are total professionals you can trust. They know the market and can give advice you may not hear from others who just want a listing or what you to like them. If things real estate need to happen for you, go with Diane and Tina

~ Gerard H.

Tina Cinfio has helped me find two residences in the past 6 years. She was very knowledgeable and showed a great deal of concern. Tina made herself available and worked diligently until we found the perfect match. I plan to buy a home this summer and Tina Cinfio is my first choice as a Realtor; I have recommended Tina to many friends as well.

~ Amanda J.

Tina Cinfio guided me through the sale of my house in Aurora, and was a tremendous help. She helped manage contact with buyer's agents, and recommended the correct strategy and adjustments to find the right buyer. I have recommended her to my friends, and would use Tina's services when buying or selling a house.

~ Rick W.

Diane was fantastic! We relocated from another state and she was very helpful introducing us to the area. She understood our urgency to find a new home and rapidly scheduled showings for us. She helped us achieve a price we're satisfied with when it came time to purchase and went above & beyond to help us in any way that she could. We have a two year old daughter and Diane was very accommodating with her coming along for our tours. I would absolutely recommend her!
